Our 2026 short-term medical mission to Senegal has been officially scheduled. Please read the following important updates carefully:
1. Registration

Instructions:
- The registration deadline is December 15, 2025.
- You may choose either week to participate. (If joining both weeks, participants only need to pay local fees for one week.)
- Please download the waiver form from the registration page, sign it, and email it to africacriesout.reg@gmail.com to complete your registration.
- If you have any questions, you can also email this address.
- Please keep your username and password in a safe place. After you purchase your airline ticket, please log in and enter your flight information.
2. Fees and Donations:
Registration Fees
Each family is asked to contribute a non-refundable registration fee of USD $1,100, which will be used for medicine, rice, medical equipment, and hospital rental.
Returning volunteers will receive a discount:
- Third-year participants: $500 registration fee
- Fourth-year (or longer) participants: $250 registration fee.
If you feel led, you may choose to pay the full amount as a donation without applying the discount.
Local Costs
The local accommodation, meals, and transportation fee is USD $1,200 per person.
If you join both weeks, you only need to pay for one week of local fees.
3. Certificate of Service
Each participant will receive a Certificate of Service issued by Africa Cries Out.
4. Suggested Delta Flights:
Week 1
- Departure: DL216 – March 19, 2026 (Thu) 7:30 PM, JFK → Arrive Dakar, March 20, 7:15 AM
- Return: DL217 – March 27, 2026 (Fri) 10:30 AM Dakar → Arrive JFK, 3:35 PM
- Estimated Fare: $1,162 per person + $75 for the first checked baggage.
Week 2
- Departure: DL216 – March 26, 2026 (Thu) 7:30 PM, JFK → Arrive Dakar, March 27, 7:15 AM
- Return: DL217 – April 5, 2026 (Sun) 9:00 AM Dakar → Arrive JFK, 1:15 PM.
- Estimated Fare: $1,162 per person + $75 for the first checked baggage.
(Note: Airfares are subject to change by the airline.)
Please purchase your own ticket and enter your flight information in the registration form. This will help us coordinate airport pickup and lodging arrangements.
Since Delta now charges baggage fees, we encourage each family to donate one checked luggage for Africa Cries Out, to carry medicines and supplies for the people of Africa.
Please arrive at the airport three hours before departure to assist in checking in our medical supplies.
5. Participants and Team Composition:
Our team including internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, anesthesiology, ophthalmology, maxillofacial surgery, orthopedics, dentistry, acupuncture, and more.
This year, we will have a large internal medicine team and are in great need of physicians from all specialties.
Non-medical volunteers are also warmly welcomed.
We especially encourage youth volunteers to join—every year, they have played an important and inspiring role in our mission.
6. Vaccinations:
Each volunteer is required to receive the Yellow Fever vaccine, which is a one-time vaccination and provides lifetime protection.
Please also consult your family doctor regarding CDC-recommended vaccinations, mainly:
- Typhoid
- Hepatitis A
Vaccinations are available at Passport Health, CVS, etc.

7. Donations:
This year, we are not accepting computer donations.
8. Accommodation:
Due to limited space and conditions, couples will stay separately, and youth will be housed by gender.
