Third class of Technical school students graduate today
Author: Xu Jun, July 02, 2022
It’s 85°F in New York today, and it excites us today to hear of the graduation of our third class of 29 students.
It has been a struggle for the technical school during the epidemic. Some students were taken home by their parents. Others did not want to continue their studies. Some suffered from various diseases. Even the teachers panicked at some points. Despite all of this, they were able to get through all of these difficulties. Today, they completed the required courses mandated by the state and obtained their diplomas. Our sincerest congratulations to them!
The school provides our students with free tuition, accommodations, and meals. They cherish the opportunity of learning and are grateful to the school. This is a photo with last year’s graduates during my interview. All of last year’s graduates have completed their internships and have jobs, with several starting their own businesses. I am also very impressed by their ambitions, especially when one of them said he wants to become the best entrepreneur in Senegal. My dear friend, when you see the success of “teach a man to fish,” you will realize that your dedication has made those hopeless young people, whose average annual incomes were less than $1,100, have brighter futures. A little bit of our giving and donations will change their lives forever. What could be more meaningful than this?
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” Thank you for your loving support. Unconditional love is the greatest love in the world! So, let’s take action to give unconditional love without asking for anything in return, and never stop!
Africa Cries Out is currently looking for a few volunteers to help our website and public WeChat account. If you are willing, please contact Dr. Xu Jun. Thank you very much!
