Daka Technical School was opened on October 18,2021.  But the pandemic has completely changed the lives of people all over the world, including everything in Senegal.
We planned to enroll 50 students this year, due to the pandemic, we only enrolled 25 students. 13 of them are studying electrical techniques, 5 students are studying plumbing, and 7 are studying bakery. We now have two female students studying sewing. After school starts, more women will be recruited so that they can learn how to make a living and strive for independent family status.

All students must study cultural classes and computers, which are the foundation of everything. They really cherish this free learning opportunity.

Among the above 25 students, two are from Mali and two are from Nigeria. Except for the sewing class, all of them are males. Due to the restrictions of accommodation conditions, we do not have a female dormitory. We plan to complete the female’s dormitory in March next year. Then we will have more female students.

The students are learning printing and dyeing techniques and printing T-shirts.

In January next year, we will also have a training course for two months. All 16 students will come from Brazil.

Thank you for your support. All of our students are free of charge. The direct expense of a student is US$2,000 a year. We firmly believe that  giving people  a fish is worse than teaching them to fish. This is the beginning of our African ministry. There will be more international students in the future, and our alumni will definitely go to the world.
